Sisters Inspiring Sisters Through Education , Righteousness and Spirit Mentoring Program  

(SISTERS) is a Girls Violence Prevention Program that emphasize, youth development, leadership, education and training adolescent girls. The activities that Your Sister's Project incorporate are holistic rites of passages, as well as mentoring for female’s youth ages 6 to 18 , which aim is to prevent alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse and promote personal growth. It offers personal growth and development through experiential group exercise along with community cultural, educational and recreational activities. It helps the youth to maintain a healthy value based childhood under the guidance of caring, supportive and creative community. SISTERS utilize evidence-based curriculums.

 

Your Sister's Project Women Empowerment Programs 

This program is specialized for women who meet the criteria under welfare reform. This program provides support, job readiness, literacy, technological training and supportive services necessary to empower women to make the transition from welfare to employment opportunities. Your Sister’s Project realizes that men’s issues are unmet. 

 

Your Sister's Project Financial Literacy Program

This is a money management program to help youth and adults make informed financial decisions

 

Your Sister's Project Youth Entrpreneurial Program

Is a 16-week program that provided education and training to youth in a free enterprise, utilizing the 10-point Economic Development Blueprint

 

Your Sister's Project Education and Training

Education and Training programs are available to schools, community organizations, mosque, churches and other groups to provide information on: The Trans Atlantic Slave Trade Educational Program, Stages of Chemical Dependency, Co-dependency, (The Family Illness), Tobacco Cessation for Adolescents, Women, Men and Children’s Health, Disaster Preparedness for High Risk Populations, Hip Hop Culture,  HIV/AIDS Education, Self Esteem Building and Parenting, Religion and Cultural Diversity, Coalition Building, Restorative Justice Community Accountability,  Economic Development and Social Enterprise.

 

Your Sister's Project Speaker's Bureau

Your Sister's Project contributes to organization’s information, goals and needs, as well as inspire.
